The Fojo Media Institute and CJEN Bangladesh are pleased to announce the successful applicants to the recent call for proposals under the “Dig Deeper” initiative, which focuses on co-designing extra-curricular journalism courses in investigative journalism.

Following a competitive selection process, the following full-time faculty members have been selected:

• Md Belal Hossain, Comilla University
• Rifat Sultana, State University of Bangladesh
• Aftab Hossain, Daffodil International University

These selected participants will collaborate in developing innovative, practice-oriented courses aimed at strengthening journalism education in Bangladesh. The initiative places particular emphasis on enhancing investigative journalism training for female students, contributing to more inclusive and impactful media practices.

The organizers commend the high quality of submissions received and express confidence that this cohort will play a vital role in advancing critical, ethical, and in-depth journalism in the country.
